Bhutan, the land of “Thunder Dragon” is a small noncoastal nation located in South Asia. Bhutan is a Himalayan kingdom situated between China to the north and India to the south and is one of the smallest country in the world. Bhutan is about 300 km wide and 150 km long and it is the home for many virgin Mountain peaks, flora and fauna and ancient Buddhist Culture. Bhutan Magical Trek offers you the chance to explore Bhutan’s incredible beauty, clean air, unspoiled and un-crowded trails that offer trekker an exhilarating and memorable experience. In this Bhutan Magical Trek we will see the traditional cultural side of temples monasteries, local farm houses, schools, museums and local villages and the scenic Himalayan Mountains. Trekking in Bhutan is a remarkable experience - a journey to an isolated land often far from civilization, a journey of cultural exchange, a journey back in time, a journey of discovery about others and about one's self; above all it is a broad and unique experience which gratifies adventurous ambitions and provides inner fulfillment.

This Bhutan Magical Trek will take you to western - central Bhutan Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Wangduephodrang, Trongsa and Bumthang. You will meet the captivating people and explore the colorful hand-painted Himalayan buildings, monuments and cinematic landscape. The trekking is in the Gangtey valley which is considered one of the most scenic in all of Bhutan and the Gangtey Gompa is the only Nyingmapa Monastery on the western side of the black mountains. This moderate trek visits the village of Gogona and Khotokha, passing through fields, and forest of Juniper, Magnolia and Rhodrendrons.

Day 1 : Today is your arrival day.

You will arrive at Paro airport enjoying the Mountain View and beautiful landscape. Upon your arrival we will pick you up and assist you to the hotel. At the evening we will visit Ta Dzong and Rinpung Dzong. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Today in the morning we will visit Taktsang Monastery.

Then we will drive to the capital of Bhutan Thimpu passing through beautiful landscape and natural beauty all around. Stay overnight at Thimpu.

Day 3 : Today we travel to Punakha. Punakha is the old capital of Bhutan. We pass Dochu La pass )

to enjoy the Mountain View and we will Visit Punakha Dzong (fort) built in 1637 Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, the most famous name in the Bhutanese history. Then we head forward to Wangdu and visit Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Rest land stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 4 : Today we move forward on jour journey to Gangtey valley.

We explore the culture and lifestyle of the Buddhist people in this area and enjoy their hospitality. We also visit the famous Gangtey Gompa. Then we move forward to Trongsa. Stay and rest overnight at Hotel.

Day 5 : Today we drive to Bumthang passing through beautiful Bhutanese countryside and landscape.

We drive through forest and many cultural settlements of Buddhist people. After reaching Bumthang we will visit and explore the places and culture around including the Trongsa Dzong. Stay overnight at Bumthang.

Day 6 : Today is Bumthang exploration day.

We will visit Jambay Lhakhang, Chakhar Lhakhang, Jambay Temple, Kurjey Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhendrup Chholing, Jakar Dzong and walk across the beautiful landscape of Bumthang Valley. Stay overnight at Bumthang.

Day 7 : Today we will drive to Mebartsho 'the flaming lake' in the Tang valley.

The Mebartsho is in fact, not a lake but a gorge through which the river rushes. It is great pilgrimage site, visitors launch small lighted lamps on the water. Then we explore Ura Valley believed by some to have been the home of the earliest inhabitants of Bhutan. Stay overnight at Bumthang.

Day 8 : Today we drive passing beautiful landscape

Today we drive passing beautiful landscape and the Bhutanese countryside about eight hours to finally reach Wangdue. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 9 : Today we drive to the capital: Thimpu. On the way we will visit Simtokha Dzong.

We will have opportunity to meet and enjoy the hospitality of Bhutanese people. Stay overnight at hotel in Thimpu.

 

Day 10 : Today we visit Memorial Chorten and Trashichoo Dzong.

Then we drive towards Paro. You can visit around paro and go for shopping in Paro.

Day 11 : Today is your departure day. We will drop you to the airport prior to your flight.
