Lhasa city tour is a popular tor into the holy city of Lhasa. Lhasa, the capital of the Tibet Sovereign Region is a historically worthy town dated back to more than 1300 years in the history of Tibet. This fascinating tour into the holy and shiny city of Lhasa attracts tourists by its historical city scene, natural sightseeing, cultural places, religious sites and ancient and old religious monuments around. Some of the most popular serene of Lhasa are The Jokhang Temple, lying at about 1,000 meters to the east of the Potala Palace, is a 1,300 year old temple and is the most admired religious structure in Tibet, Barkhor Street is located in the center of Lhasa, Tibet. The street circles the Jokhang Temple, and has been an essential pilgrim route since the foundation of the temple and Drepung was the principal seat of the Great Fifth Dalai Lama and it reserved the premier place amongst the four great Gelugpa monasteries.

Lhasa city tour is a short tour for 3-4days that let you explore the natural sightseeing sites around the city, cultural village of old and ancient Buddhist religion and the religious shrines around. You can visit the Dalai Lama’s summer palace and Tibet largest and highest man-made garden in Norbulingka Palace and Tibet Museum where you may have a clue of the historic development of Tibetan Culture. Explore and sightsee the fascinating beauty of the forbidden kingdom of the world.

Day 1 : Today early morning scenic flight from Kathmandu all the way to Lhasa airport.

We then drive for 2 hours on the way to Lhasa through the Yarlung Tsangpo and the Lhasa Kyichu River. Rest overnight.

Day 2 : Today full day exploration day at Lhasa City.

Early in the Morning we go to visit Potala palace. It was built in the 7th century by Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo and later renovated by the 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th century. Throughout the day we visit some of the famous natural sightseeing and religious monasteries and palaces. Rest overnight.

Day 3 : Today whole day excursion around Lhasa city.

Early in the Morning we visit Drepung monastery, which is the largest Monastery of the Gelugpa sect in Lhasa, which was built in 1416 by Jamyang chojie a disciple of Tsongkhapa. After lunch we go to visit Jokhang Tempale and Barkhor market. Explore around and rest overnight.
