Bhutan is tiny landlocked country situated in South Asia and is also often referred as the Land of Thunder Dragon. It is a Himalayan country with most of the population following Buddhist religion and culture. Rugged landscape and pristine environment make Bhutan a famous tourist destination. More than sixty percent of Bhutan is covered with forest and these forest are home to many wild animals, birds, flora and fauna. The forest is also the home for many endangered animals and birds. The pleasant natural beauty, landscape, Himalayas, ancient culture, their history, tradition and hospitality of Bhutanese people makes Bhutan the perfect destination for tourists. Bhutan is the ideal place for individuals who are looking for a solitary in their travel. Dense forests, colorful wildlife, glorious mountains and a pure environment are some of the features that separate Bhutan from other countries of the world.

Glimpse of Bhutan tour starts form Paro visiting the ancient museum and Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. Moving forwards we will hike to the Taktsang monastery situated in unbelievable landscape. After exploration of the temple, we move forward to Thimpu the capital of Bhutan. We will visit and explore Changangkha Monastery, Nunnery temple, School of Arts and Crafts and Folk Heritage Museum. We will hike up to Wangditse Monastery with pine forests and astonishing landscape on the way. Then finally we will drive back to Paro.

Day 1 : The Glimpse of Bhutan tour starts from Paro.

A flight crossing the Himalayas talks us to Paro. Upon your arrival to Paro we will pick you up and assist you to the hotel.  After rest and lunch we will visit the National Museum full of ancient painting, armors, philatelic display and “field of Buddha”. Then we will visit the oldest temple in the country called as Kichu Lhakhang. Stay overnight at hotel in Paro.

Day 2 : Today, we will hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery.

It is absolutely breathtaking, situated at 10,400 feet and perched on the edge of a steep cliff about 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley.  We will explore the monastery and hike back down to the valley floor. This evening we will drive to Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan. Stay overnight at Hotel in Thimpu.

Day 3 : Today will visit Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Monastery,

Today will visit Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Monastery, Nunnery temple, School of Arts and Crafts and Folk Heritage Museum. Afterwards we will visit traditional paper factory, majestic Tashichhodzong and giant Buddha statue on a hill overlooking Thimpu. In the evening, you can stroll freely in Thimpu city and absorb the lifestyle of the people. Stay overnight at hotel in Thimpu.

Day 4 : Today in the morning will hike to Wangditse Monastery on a leveled trail through pine forests with great view of north Thimpu Valley.

  On the way, we will have an opportunity see Takins - unique national animal that is found only in the Himalayas. After exploring the monastery, we will hike back to Thimphu town. Afterwards we will drive back to Paro. Stay overnight at hotel in Paro.
