Moving forwards we will hike to the Taktsang monastery situated in unbelievable landscape. After exploration of the temple, we move forward to Thimpu the capital of Bhutan. We will visit and explore Changangkha Monastery, Nunnery temple, School of Arts and Crafts and Folk Heritage Museum. We will hike up to Wangditse Monastery with pine forests and astonishing landscape on the way. Then finally we will drive back to Paro.
A flight crossing the Himalayas talks us to Paro. Upon your arrival to Paro we will pick you up and assist you to the hotel. After rest and lunch we will visit the National Museum full of ancient painting, armors, philatelic display and “field of Buddha”. Then we will visit the oldest temple in the country called as Kichu Lhakhang. Stay overnight at hotel in Paro.
It is absolutely breathtaking, situated at 10,400 feet and perched on the edge of a steep cliff about 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley. We will explore the monastery and hike back down to the valley floor. This evening we will drive to Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan. Stay overnight at Hotel in Thimpu.
Today will visit Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Monastery, Nunnery temple, School of Arts and Crafts and Folk Heritage Museum. Afterwards we will visit traditional paper factory, majestic Tashichhodzong and giant Buddha statue on a hill overlooking Thimpu. In the evening, you can stroll freely in Thimpu city and absorb the lifestyle of the people. Stay overnight at hotel in Thimpu.
On the way, we will have an opportunity see Takins - unique national animal that is found only in the Himalayas. After exploring the monastery, we will hike back to Thimphu town. Afterwards we will drive back to Paro. Stay overnight at hotel in Paro.
