made a quick booking of my trip a month and a half before with Prem and he managed to arrange everything including the domestic flight to lukla.
I have to stress that you need to train for the treks whichever one you choose. I only did my training hiking up and down the local trails after i made my booking. Also walked up to my 12th floor apartment at least 3 times a week. Even with that, i was still out of breath but Prem made my treks easier by helping me to pace, slowly but surely. He ensured that he was with me all the time. Thanks Prem!
Everything was arranged well from the hotel in kathmandu to the wonderful teahouses along the trekking route. There was a slightly longer route that wasnt included in the package which Prem highly recommended. I was glad I took it coz the views were amazing although I was hesitant at first coz i had to trek more.
Take your time, stop and savor the view, take your pictures. Its the journey that counts and not the destination!

BEST TRIP EVER! April- May 2017 Heaven on earth
About one year ago i was contacting with Badri Pant. I saw him on Youtube and i make contact in the mail. Very directly i was in contact with him. I want to know everything about the trips they offer. This is a dream for me and i really want it to be perfect. So... Badri and I did mail so very much. He gives me al the answers i needed. No quention was to much for him. He give me a feeling that i can trust him. I was really scared because i was not trained that good. He sad to me that we will have time, and we take it very slowly. So Badri did make a perfect trip for me and I booked my ticket to Kathmandu. When i was on the airport 21 april 2017 Badri was there. He bring me to a very nice hotel in Thamel. The day after we did fly to Lukla. Badri has many years of experience. He knows everything in the mountains. He knows every stone. That was so nice, because I now everything about it to! Badri was with me and my friend al the time. He bring uss to the most nicest and cleanest Tea houses. He gives us very very nice food. He gives uss water al te time, and he was taking care of us. I was very scared for the AMS. When my friends gets a little sick he was very proffesional. Badri knows wthat to do and he did help my friend very good. So the next morning he feel very good and we continue the trip. In the walks there where very difficult points. Badri was very relaxed. He gives me the feeling that i dont have to rush and that there was enough time. Every day he was talking with uss about the trip. Where we go the next morning, about the weather and everything. He is very proffesional and he did everything to give us a good feeling. We made it till base camp and back. The way back i want to change the route. Because i was a little tired. That was no problem for Badri. He did everything to give me a good feeling. It was no problem to change some tea houses and Badri was manage everything. I travel a lot and this was really the best trip i ever make. And that is because i did my trip with a very proffesional company. We did see the most beautiful places in the Himalaya and it really catch my breath all the time.EVEREST is so amazing. It was so special. Also we had one day left in Kathmandu. Landmark Discovery treks offers uss a free driver to give uss a Sight seeing tour. That was a great last day. We did see a lot of nice tempels and also we see cultural stuff. This end of the holiday was make it completed. Badri bring us back to the airport. We didnt have to do anything. He did everything for us. I am so happy i met Badri. Without him i could not have such a great trip. So if you want to go to nepal, and you want it to be perfect. I really recommend this company. You can trust them and you know what you get. This is my 3rd time using this company, which hopefully says a lot. I know i can always trust them. I just show up at the airport and they take care of me until they return me back to the airport. This trip had so many unplanned things that happened but they were able to deal with all the changes needed. They are always concerned about me and do whatever it takes. It truly is all about the customer. Don't pay the high prices that tour companies charge, it is the exact same tour that this local company provides for so much less.

I cannot recommend Prem and Landmark Discovery Tours enough. Prem was the guide for myself and my wife on our honeymoon trek to Everest Base Camp. He picked us up at the airport with a huge smile, organized a tour of Kathmandu, and then took us up to the mountains. His knowledge of the region is amazing. I honestly can't think of a question that I asked that he couldn't answer. My wife had some AMS symptoms and Prem took excellent care of her and made her feel at ease (despite her raging head ache).
Our trek was one of the most amazing trips of our life. We will obviously never forget the amazing views, yaks, food and culture that we got to see on a day to day basis. If EBC wasn't on your bucket list, add it now.
One of the main reasons for our trip was amazingw was because of Prem and Landmark Discovery. Prem was recommended from a good friend, and now I am making that recommendation to you. We met other groups who had horrible experiences with guides and porters, so I know how important it is to have a great guide. I would send anyone from my friends and family with Prem without a second thought. He really is an amazing guide and person who truly loves his job. It's kinda hard to blame him!

We decided to do the EBC trek with my fiancee. So I went shopping around as there are loads of trekking companies in Nepal and we were on a tight budget. I have compared around 15-20 trekking companies for the best deals. Shortlisted around 3 and eventually chose Landmark Discovery to go with. Bought our holiday well before we departed around 3 months earlier. The decision that made me chose Landmark Discovery is that the owner, Prem was always in touch with all the information I needed, very polite, flexible and helpful. The package he offered was of good price/quality. Our guide was his brother Badri who was there holding up our name on a card when we arrived at Kathmandu airport and was there to say Goodbye when we departed. He looked after us very well and made us feel special during our trek. Due to personal issues we did not have much time to prepare for our trek, and were worried if we can succeed with it. Badri has given us all the information and was supporting us all the way especially when we were very tired and struggling(yeah we had that too:). We really liked our porter Mahesh also, his spoken English was very good, later we found out he is a guide trainee, he will become a great guide we are certain, actually it was like having two guides really.
Our trek was an all inclusive, which included flights to Lukla, meals, accommodation, wages for guide and porter. When choosing our meals from the menu we could choose anything we want and Badri would provide this without a fuss. (I am mentioning this because prices vary on the menu, and meal money is given to the guides to pay with. Have read online that many trekkers have noticed other guides trying to convince their trekkers to choose the cheaper meals from the menu as is ''much safer'' and later when paying would notice guides and porter's splitting overleft money which should have gone for the trekkers meals.)
I have also read many reviews online about companies that make trekkers sick and send them down with the Helicopter with AMS(this is how they bank a lot of money) and this was another worry. Given the fact that we have never been in Nepal trekking, I hope you can understand our worries.
Things to consider very important, keep your feet safe and invest in a comfortable and durable pair of walking boots, don't look at the price as later your feet will thank you at least mine did. Also make sure you have a good camera and spare batteries with it.
Overall, just to say we feel blessed we have come across Landmark Discovery and met kind people who made our Holiday one of the best we had.
If we are going back in the future? YES WE ARE, and definitely with Landmark Discovery Treks!

Me and my friends planned to visit Everest Base Camp so we booked this amazing trip with Landmark Discovery Trek and we went to Nepal on 1st Oct. The price is so affordable and the service was great. Prem was so prompt to reply all my emails. When we arrived there, we faced one problem because of the weather condition. Most of the flight to Lukla were cancelled due to cloudy weather for few days so do our flight but Prem helped us a lot to get the earliest flight on the next day (which is very difficult at that point of time with so many desperate passengers who want to fly Lukla asap). But thanks to him we got to fly on the next day with the earliest flight.
The trekking experience is really mind blowing! I have no word to describe how amazing it was. Photos and videos cannot really capture the real beauty of the nature, you must go and see it for yourself. But unfortunately I was having sore throat and sick.The guide and porter help me a lot while I was very weak and need to go very very slowly. I am really thankful to all of them. And then I got altitude sickness after 4 days of trekking and need to go down immediately so only one of my friends make it to the base camp.
But Prem arrange another itinerary for us. After we rest for 2 days, we got to go to Pokhara City and saw a lot of snow mountains with amazing sunrise view. After we came back from Pokhara we had one day tour in Kathmandu. If you are the history and heritage lover, this is the place for you. All the temples are very beautiful with full of interesting history.
Last but not least, for this trip although I was so sad that I didn't make it to the base camp we still have unforgettable experiences in Nepal, all thanks to Landmark Discovery Trek Team! I will prepare better and will go back again to Everest Base Camp with this Tour. :)

As a 65th birthday present to myself, I elected to go trekking in Nepal. Unfortunately my planned companion became ill and could not come. Accordingly I went by myself. Prem was very helpful in setting this up, and willing to take me as an individual. Trekking with his brother Badri and our porter was a pleasure. At all times I felt safe and well taken care of. They had picked the most "luxurious" tea houses. Some even had electric blankets! From airport pick up to airport drop off everything was handled by Landmark Discovery Treks. Prem had recommended November as the best month for good weather, and we had perfect sunshine. I feel his vast experience made my trip the trip of a lifetime that I will never forget. If you have considered this trek, I would highly encourage you to proceed, and can highly recommend Landmark Discovery Treks

Been planning this adventure for a few months, after emailed over dozens of trekking companies, I came across Landmark Discovery Treks. Prem (owner) was very quick to response to all my inquiries and the price was very reasonable. Prem is also very accommodating, he was happy to follow my itineraries and weeks leading to the start of the trekking, I wanted to change the trekking dates, with no question asked, Prem rearranged everything for me. I was well looked after from the arrival to departure in Kathmandu.
During the trek, I was well looked after by my guide, Mahesh. He always made sure I have enough to eat and always there to give me advices as what to eat to help reduce the risk of altitude sickness. Accommodation was basic but very cleaned and sometimes with bathroom attached so that was a bonus! I have to thank Mahesh for helping me carried extra things when I really struggled.
So thank you Prem and Mahesh for the amazing trip.
I highly recommend Landmark Discovery Treks to anyone for their excellent services and reasonable pricing.

Two friends and I went on a guided trek with Landmark Discovery Treks to Everest Base Camp at the end of May beginning of June. While it was the beginning of the wet season, we had great luck with views and weather - especially on the day at EBC.
Badri (our awesome guide) had an calm collected character through the whole trip.

While I was doing research for this trip, I emailed the owner Prem to ask about the details and he was courteous and very willing to reply to all my questions, so I decided to go with him. Then he assigned me a great guide Mahesh who had been trekking with me 12 days on EBC. At first I was a bit uncertain but then Mahesh was the best guide I ever had. He was professional, proficient in English, quickly reactive to situations, and genuine. We had a great time and I got to know more about the region. Trekking in EBC has become a lifelong experience thanks to Prem and Mahesh. Highly recommend whoever want to trek in Nepal. Landmark discovery is the choice to go.

I travelled to Nepal for the first time in December 2014. This is an overdue review but better later than nothing :). I travelled with my buddy Ryan and being the chilled out people that we are, we were not expecting all that much. My uncle had recommended Prem Panta from Landmark Discovery Treks as he had used their services 6 months prior to my trip and i took up their services based on his recommendation. Our trip began in Kathmandu before flying to Pokhara to begin our journey on the Annapurna circuit. We were blown away by Prem's attention to detail and overall service. He was organized, punctual, easy to reach and always smiling and good natured.
Food wise, being Malaysian, we were keen to try the local food and Prem brought us to some top notch local restaurants in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Along the trail, we were also keen to eat what they ate and we had some awesome dal-bhat and other local treats. Without fail, he would make sure that he oversaw our needs before his and was very gracious the entire time. Things can get pretty busy in the teahouses and having a guide to look out for you was great as it puts you in a more relaxed state of mine without having to worry about whether there was going to be any mixup in your food order or having to wait a long time due to the large groups of people walking in at the same time expecting to be fed. We felt blessed travelling with someone who knew a lot about the local culture and we could ask lots of questions about village life and he was there to act as the interpreter. Although i was armed with my lonely planet guide, nothing can beat the up-to-date and localised information a guide can provide you. Some of the spots he brought us to see the sunrise were also off the beaten path and not in the guides. Such is the knowledge of a local guide.
As we were hiking in the winter time, Prem also provided us with jackets and sleeping bags and i must say that their equipment was top notch. He provided us with North Face jackets (which i think was modified to include more insulation) and it helped a lot as my own jacket was not as warm as i thought it would be. He also provided us with hiking poles which helped a great deal (i couldnt be bothered to pack my own poles from malaysia).
Little details like booking rooms with toilets (some places maybe have 3-4 rooms with attached toilets; while the rest are shared) or booking certain rooms that have the best views, ensuring that there were sufficient blankets, knowing what time to begin our journey to beat the crowds, stories about the trail, being able to communicate with the locals... are in my view, the benefit of having a local guide. i feel our overall experience was greatly enhanced as compared to going at it on our own. Having peace of mind and putting some of the responsibility on him allowed us to just enjoy the trip and take great photos, joke and laugh and have a drink at the end of the day.
So all in all, it was a fantastic trip and i highly recommend their services.
..Now i need to plan the next Nepal trek for 2016..

I booked a trip with this company based on a recommendation from my partners friend. We were put into contact with Badri who gave us expert advice and helped us to create a personal itinerary We decided to trek the Annapurna circuit from Dharapani to Jhomson and then take a flight to Pokhara. Every correspondence was replied to promptly and we were well prepared for when we arrive to meet Badri at the airport. He was to be our guide on the trek and from that moment on we felt completely relaxed throughout our trip. We also met one of the heads of the company Prem who briefed us on the itinerary again and answered any more lingering questions.
We were then introduced to our porter Ganesh who was also fantastic. He was funny and warm and we felt very much a family with him and Badri by oursides. The trek itself was breathtaking from start to finish. Everyday brought new incredible views and cultural experiences. The scenery was beautiful as were the people. We saw things that were so inspiring that it's hard to accurately convey them with words. We saw all of this under the guidance of Badri and Ganesh who catered to our every need and who also gave us privacy when requested. They kept us safe at all times whilst providing expert hospitality and the very best accommodation available. Each place we stayed was clean and warm and mainly with ensuite (nepalese ensuite) which was different from other trekkers we spoke to who said they were jealous as their tour company had essentially provided a roof. Our meals were excellent and filling as again Badri had suggested what to eat at each chosen rest point. We were always full and ready for the next day of trekking.
We also felt what great value this company was considering what things we saw and experienced and they are very flexible with what can be arranged which I think was perfect for us as we only had 13 days in Nepal.
All that's left to say is; just go with these guys. This will be one of the best decisions you will ever make. Thank you guys for an unforgettable experience and a personal thanks again to Badri and Ganesh for making this such a life changing trip. We can't thank you enough!

Prem and his team well organized everything and give us all useful tips and advice before we arrived at Nepal.
Badri was an experienced, expertise, reliable, patient and knowledge guide. He took care everything of us like his family during the trip. Well arrangement on meal, accommodation and trekking route, let us felt completely relax and safe throughout the trip.
Our porters, very helpful and professional, they are fantastic, fun, warm and work hard.
I have confidently recommended Landmark Discovery Terks(Prem and his team) to anyone who like to trek in Himalaya and exploring Katmandu Nepal.

There is no way I can adequately thank you for good and careful guiding to get us over Thorung La and the Annapurna circuit giving us an insight on Nepal's religions, traditions, cultures , customs.
Looking after our health making sure we are fit enough to carry on the next day taking us to the best tea house and making us feel at home there. Always doing more than we would expect. Making sure there was never a problems. It has been a wonderful experience trekking with you Badri ,Ram and Krishna we were made to fell absolutely at home and welcome "we are now family"
The Annapurna Trek and your special guiding was recommended to us from our friends but the experience itself was much better
