Likewise we also tried to provide the quick overview on the "trekking trail" and required "trekking days". Hope this top six best short trekking in Nepal will fulfill your vacation expectations on Himalayas.

Everest Region (National Park)

Everest View, Tengboche Trek (10 days, 3 870m/12 700ft)

Everest View, Tengboche Trek - A Great Alternative to Everest Base Camp Trek... From Kathmandu take an early flight along the Himalayas to Lukla (2 800m). Then walk for 2 days through forest, farming villages and dramatic mountain scenery up to ‘throbbing’ Namche Bazaar. Spend a day exploring the town and the neighboring Sherpa village of Khumjung (3 780m); including views of the Everest group, Ama Dablam and countless other snow bedecked peaks. Continue to Sanasa before descending to cross the Dudh Khosi (from Everest’s South Col). The trail then climbs through beautiful rhododendron forest to Tengboche. This hilltop village has an important monastery and panoramic views of the surrounding giants – including Everest and its satellites. Return to Lukla, staying in different villages.

 Langtang Region (National Park)

Langtang Valley Trek (11 days, 4 600m/16 340ft)

The Langtang Valley lies between two impressive east-west ranges near the Tibetan border. Many of the lodges damaged by the 2015 earthquake have been repaired and the region welcomes trekkers. Drive to the start of the trek from Kathmandu by jeep or bus. Trek over hills to the southern slopes of the Langtang Valley through mixed forest rich in wildlife and farmlands surrounding friendly villages. Cross to the drier northern slopes and gradually ascend to the U-shaped valley carved by the Langtang, Shalbachum and Lirung glaciers. The trail leads to the Kyanjin Gompa village – for a rest day.  Hike up Kyanjin Ri (4 600m/16 340ft) for extensive panoramic views of the High Himalaya; plus nearby Langtang Lirung and its glaciers.  The return trek follows a different lower route to the road at Syabru Besi adding great views of the Ganesh Himal.

Manaslu Region (Conservation Area: Restricted Region)

Tsum Valley Trek (17 days 3 700m/12 140ft)

Only opened for trekking in 2008, this secluded gem offers a rich glimpse into a bygone era. Drive to the start of the trek from Kathmandu by jeep or bus. The topography of the Buddhi Gandaki and Siyar Khola valleys requires much up-down walking through magnificent forest and farmland – with countless waterfalls; the upper Tsum valley rises above the tree line. The ~4 000 Tsumbas, in 18 villages, maintain a unique culture and form of Buddhism. Impressive square chortens, clustered stone houses and numerous monasteries and nunneries – with ancient art and remarkable views over walled yak drawn hand ploughed fields. Rustic accommodation is accompanied by a warm welcome and good food. Mu and the 800 year old Dephyu Doma monasteries are the end destination. Return to ‘New Bridge’ and out. This valley less busy as the Manaslu trail – explore its serene magic before that changes.

Annapurna Region (Conservation Area)

The Poon Hill and Sanctuary treks begin from the lakeside city of Pokhara – reached by bus or plane from Kathmandu. They explore the southern sections of the range. The Bimthang trail explores the western Manaslu region with great views of the northern faces of the Annapurna range. It is reached by jeep or bus from Kathmandu; if you have time visit Pokhara after the Trek and fly back to Kathmandu. 1200

Poon Short Hill Trek (05 days, 3 210m/10530ft)     3 + 2

(Pokhara - Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Nayapul - Pokhara)  Poon Hill, Nepal’s most popular short trek, offers wonderful sunrise views of the sixty km Himalayan range from Dhaulagiri in the west to Manaslu in the east with the Annapurna Peaks spread high above you. This short and easy trek can be tackled by anyone, including families with children over six years; if you are moderately fit and used to walking. Daily altitude increases are kept to a minimum. The paths take you through terraced farmlands and ancient rhododendron, oak and bamboo forests with ever – changing views from high ground.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek (12 days, 4 130m/13 550ft)  10 + 2

The Annapurna Sanctuary trek is more demanding: the view of 4 000m rock faces surrounding you from the Base Camp hotels is spectacular. If you are fit and walk regularly, the gradual increases in altitude through lush forest and farmland should not be a problem: there are numerous attractive villages and tea houses along the route. Ascend the eastern banks of the Modi Khola Valley for two days. Cross to the western bank and continue up to the Annapurna Base Camp in two days. Marvel at a sunrise over the gigantic peaks above you from the Annapurna South glacial rim – before beginning the three day downward journey – following a different route.

Bimthang Ponkar Lake Trek (09 days, 3 970m/12 990ft)              7 + 2

This new trek follows a route behind the Annapurna range, walking up the busy Marsyangdi, then the quieter Dudh Khola Valleys. The route takes you through low rural Hindu agricultural villages up to Buddhist communities who migrate to high pastures in the summer months. From Goa, the trail passes through magnificent and pristine oak and rhododendron forest, gradually rising to the tree line and a stark alpine grandeur. Bimthang is a high yak grazing pasture with new lodges to welcome you. Manaslu rises to the east. From here, a morning walk over a glacial moraine takes you into a spectacular semicircle of ice-bound jagged peaks – and the Ponkar Lake; one of two medial lakes trapped between three glaciers from where we view the scenery. Return by the same route – with great views of the western Annapurna giants. This trek demands pre-fitness, but the route is not difficult.
