Day to Day trekking routes

Day 1 : Lukla to Phakding

The trek starts from Lukla, to reach Lukla we take a flight from the Airport. Lukla is located in the Khumbu region. This trail is mostly downhill and the weather is warm during spring and autumn. In these trails we cover 8km and around 4hours to reach Phakding.

Lukla to Phakding

Day 2: Phakding to Namche Bazar

In these trails, we cover 12km. The trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar is around 6 to 7hours where we pass through Hillary Suspension bridge and pine forest.

Day 3:Acclimatization and exploration day

This is the first acclimatizing day, where there is access to ATMs, cafes, bakeries etc. On this day we will walk to the Khumjung village and view Sherpa life and culture. We mainly rest here so our body will adjust to the high climate. We also visit Museum, View Point, Parks.

Day 4:Namche Bazar to Tengboche

In these trails, we cover 10km. The trek from Namche Bazar to Tenboche is around 5 to 6 hours. This place is mainly famous for its Monastery.

Namche to Tengboche

Day 5:Tengboche to Dingboche

This trail follows the river to its confluence with Lobuche Khola up to Dingboche. During trails we can see walled terraced fields protect barley, buckwheat and potatoes with icy winds.

Distance: 10–11km

Duration: 5–7hours

Day 6:Acclimatization and exploration day

This is the second acclimatizing day, where we hike to Nangkartshang Gompa ridge to view Glacier, Lhotse’s glaciers. After the hike we will again return to the teahouse in Dingboche. It is a simple hike to prepare our body for the next day's trek.

Day 7: Dingboche to Lobuche

This day walking distance is a bit low as compared to the other day. In this trail we will cover 8km which is around 5hours. This trail is also the most exciting trails among all.

Lukla to Phakding

Day 8: Lobuche to Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp

Today the trek is a bit hard as we walk from lobuche to gorakshep and go for the Everest Base Camp and again return back to Gorakshep. But some want to spend the night in the Gorakshep and the next day they climb Everest Base Camp.

Distance: 12–14 km

Duration: 7–8hours

Day 9: Gorakshep to Kalapatthar to pheriche

On this day we will go up to the Kalapatthar for sunrise over Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Changtse.The view is stunning. From Kalapatthar. After the view we will descend to Pheriche. Day 10: Pheriche to Debuche

In these trails, we cover 12km. The trek from Pheriche to Debuche is around 6 to 8hours where we pass through Rhododendron forest which looks stunning during spring(March - May).

Day 11: Debuche to Monjo

In these trails, we cover 14km. The trek from Debuche to Monjo is around 6 to 7hours where we exit National Park and walk through a greenery valley. Distance: 14–16km

Day 12: Monjo- Lukla

In these trails, we cover 12km. The trek from Monjo to Lukla is around 5 to 6hours where we climb steeply back to the Lukla.
