Your flight lands in Paro airport and the same day you will take to Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan. After a day excursion in Thimphu, another day we will drive back to Paro for major sightseeing trip. Mystic Bhutan tour discovers western and central Bhutan. Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan, Punakha and Wangduephodrang, exploring important cultural sites, monuments, unique culture and tradition, people, and villages. The major activities in this trip is Taktsang Lhakhang excursion tour which also known as “Tiger Nest”. This is the Buddhist sacred site located in the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley.  As per the history it is built in 1692, people believed that where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days and three hours in the 8th century.

Day 01: Today you will arrive Paro (2280m) on a mountain flight. The flight takes you over the great Himalayas, offering most beautiful scenery of the world’s highest peaks to enter Paro valley. Upon your arrival we will assist you to the hotel. After rest you can stroll around the streets and market. Stay overnight at hotel in Paro.

Day 02: Today we will drive to Thimpu (2320m).  On Thimpu we will visit National Memorial Chorten, National Institute of Zorig Chusum, Folk Heritage Museum, Changangkha Lhakhang, BBS tower and Tashichho Dzong. Stay overnight at hotel in Thimpu.

Day 3: Today is hiking day. Our hike starts from Simtokha Dzong. The trail passes up the ridge through blue pine and poplars forest. Observing the nature and cultural lifestyle of the people around we finally reach Talakha monastery. The views from here are excellent. In clear weather the views of the high Himalayas from here are stunning. Views of many mountain including the Mt. Everest can be seen on the horizon. Then we trek back to Thimpu. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Today we continue our journey towards east. We explore and pass through agriculture land, river valley, Dochu La Pass (3050m), Druk Wangyal Chorten, Chimi Lhakhang, rice field and fertile valley to finally reach Punakha (1300m). Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 05: Today we will visit and explore naturel beauty and cultural lifestyle of people around.  We will drive north of Punakha Valley following the Mo Chu and we will hike up to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten. Then in the evening we visit Punakha Dzong at the junction of two rivers. Stay overnight at Hotel in Punakha.

Day 06: Today we drive to glacier valley of Phobjikha. On the way we stop by and visit Nyingmapa monastery and Chendebji Chorten. In Phobjikha valley we visit Crane Observation and information center and explore the places around and cultural lifestyle of the people of that area. Stay overnight at Hotel in Phobjikha.

Day 07: Today we drive back to Thimpu. On the way we stop by and visit Wangdue Dzong, Rinchen Gang clustered village, Druk Wanggyal Lhakhang and Dochu La. In the evening you can stroll around tourist hubs in Thimpu. Stay overnight at Hotel in Thimpu.

Day 08: Today we drive back to Paro valley. After arrival we will hike up to Taktshang Gompa or Tiger’s Nest viewpoint. The well maintained path passes through Pine forest, Spanish mosses and prayer flags. Then we will visit Kyichu Lhakhang, Ta-Dzong, and Rinpung Dzong. Stay overnight at Hotel in Paro.

Day 09: Today is your departure day. We will assist you to the airport prior to your flight.
